Destashing

I love when I know I'll be shopping soon for new beads. It's a time I go through everything I have, to make way for the new. I touch every bead I have, decide whether or not I can possibly part with them. I fell in love with each one when I bought them for a special project or just because I love them. I tend to do that more. I see something , it catches my eye, I go back and know I have to have it. It's after when I'm home, sitting at my work station, I get the ideas and it all comes together. The stones themselves, inspire me.

The perfect day

It was the most perfect day here in New England. 75 degrees, breezy. I didn't clean a thing, and I'm not planning too. My day consisted of weeding my vegetable garden, helping my hubby use the weed whacker (if you can picture me doing that!) taking pictures of my newest jewelry items, editing them and finally posting them! Here are a couple for you to see.

We sat by the pool for a bit, and just enjoyed the day. Played with jack and mickey (dog and cranky old kitty cat) The flowers I planted are doing well, all blooming. I picked all yellow and purple this summer. And surprise, they look great together!

Really, it was the perfect day!

Now if I could just figure out how to make the photos in my blog go where I want them to go.

A new listing...FINALLY

It's been a while since I've had the chance to blog or even list any new items in my Etsy shop. It seems like work (nursing) and yard work have taken over for a couple of weeks! Here is the results of my hard work from my garden!

Now I did finally get the chance to make a few things and take some pictures of my new earrings. I just listed 2 pairs which are here as well.
