I'm so happy to introduce a new project of mine.

I'm now making these fabric covered badge reels. I'm a nurse , and I always have to wear a name badge. I usually wear my handmade beaded lanyards. I sell them at work to my co workers .

But there are always those who really don't like wearing a lanyard.

Evolving

So much has changed since I started writing this blog. My business is steady. I love it.

My work has evolved alot.

Being a designer and artist has given me more confidence in other aspects of life. It gives goals to seek, journeys to take, and imagination to see.

I started making a new designs this month. With the help of my hubby. I am working in copper wire. I started making what he calls my "Boingo" collection. I can make it with any color bead. It's a fun look, and one of a kind.

The seasons are changing fast. Here it is November 2 and we already had our first snow fall of the season. I'm in the middle of the Fall craft show season. I have 3 more grand shows before the holidays.

December 2: Kent hospital craft show.

Sunday Sunday!

Good morning. It's Sunday and most are thinking what they are going to do today. Me, I know. I'm heading off to work. My job is nursing, a job that always will include Weekends and Holidays. I'm used to it, almost like it. It's a quieter atmosphere on the weekends. Although it can be quite busy, the tone is different.

I wish I could stay home some days. Now today,it's raining out. It's quiet and just getting light out. Everything looks so green after no rain for so long. Now today, would be the perfect day to stay home and be creative! So many thoughts and ideas flow through this foggy head of mine this Sunday morning.

I have a few good show/ festivals coming up. My mind races trying to make enough for the show. Not that I've ever run out of jewelry!

So it the meantime, I get up, mozzy out in the rain and get my butt to work!! :)

My backyard beauty

You can travel around the world and not find the quiet peaceful beauty of your own back yard. I live deep in the woods in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Here we find peace and quiet, nature at its best. We carved a small space in the woods to build our dream home. It's nice when dreams come true. Mine have.

So today, I'm back to the real world. I'm on my way to work, and I can't be late. But as always, having a hard time time leaving home!

I find it hard to even want to go out to do the errands and shopping. Days off from my job , are so looked forward too. I pudder around the yard and house with contentment.
